Holiday in Brooklyn

Welcome to a beautiful brownstone building with three floors at 457 56th Street, Brooklyn. Stay with us in a quiet and traditional neighborhood in Sunset Park. Only 20 minutes away from downtown Manhattan using the subway which stops nearby our house.

Here you will find a very cozy and homely feeling when you stay with locals in a friendly area.

The neighborhood is one of very mixed ethnicity. In our general area there are many hispanics, Mexican, Puerto Rican, and Dominicans. If you go up 56th Street to 8th Avenue there is a Chinatown. The area developed around 1999 when Hong Kong became part of China and there was a large emigration out of China to NYC. The neighborhood from the beginning of the 20th century until the early 1970 was predominantly Norwegian, Finn, Irish and German. This has changed. Most of the restaurants are very ethnic. There is a diner, Georges, at 57th and 5th.
